CS Landed Costs

Indirect costs of purchases can be difficult to gain insight into, if multiple indirect costs occur. To control these different costs, split these costs into different cost types and post them on different balance accounts in your general ledger.

CS Landed Costs will post both a percentage of the purchase price and/or a fixed amount per base unit of measure as indirect costs per cost type on different accounts.

There are varying costs for deliveries from different countries. Calculate indirect costs per item, or per vendor and track individual costs even per order, and add them to the cost price of a purchase receipt. No matter what the valuation method of an item is.

CS Landed Costs supports the calculation of cost prices of each individual item ledger entry with indirect costs independent of the valuation method.

Purchase commissions and import duties are based on percentages of purchase values. Handling charges are amounts based on quantities of handling units.

Both types of calculation methods are supported for landed costs, posted on your balance account for inventory as part of the cost price and on accounts for budgeting the landed costs.

CS Landed Costs creates value entries that are posted according to the settings in the General Posting Setup.

The actual indirect costs are posted on a different moment than the purchase invoice and are related to the budgeted landed costs.

Balance the actual costs per landed cost type to analyze the results of the different purchase costs. Per item, per vendor and even per order. The app contains a Landed Costs entry table for that purpose.

CS Landed Costs automatically posts the different indirect costs per type, just by doing your regular job. It is an ideal tool for finance managers to keep an eye on the costs that occur on purchases.

CS Landed Costs uses standard Microsoft 365 Business Central Value entries that are posted to the General Ledger based on the General Posting Setup and Inventory Setup.

The app supports the Essentials and Premium Editions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
